The Prayer meeting~Part two~ A Photostory

We each prayed, and I noticed that tonight each doll had something specific to pray for.

Bethany prayed for Ginger, who hadn’t been herself that day,

Ocean prayed that someday she would be reunited with her mom if it be the LORD’s will,

Miracle prayed for her friend Gabi to accept Christ as her Savior,

Tessa prayed for wisdom for when she takes Matthew to meet her parents,

And Matthew asked God to tell him if he should continue his job as a journalist.

Addi prayed for the soon coming Girl Of The Year to learn about you, and also for Tessa and Matthew’s relationship,

Miracle prayed that the light of the Gospel be spread to the world, so that Jesus may come again.

When Renee’s turn came, she prayed this simple prayer: “Dear Father, I know I am not as good as I should be, but I don’t know how to be a Christian. Will you please show me to be a good Christian? Thanks. Amen.”

After Renee said this prayer, Miracle opened her eyes and said, “Jesus will help you, Renee.” And she gave her a Bible IN FRENCH! My mouth dropped open. It was rare to find a Bible in English, let alone French! “I got it from my dad when he saw me for the last time. It is my only link to him. But I think you need it more.”

A tear trickled down my face as I heard that little French girl say, “I would like to believe, Miracle, but I don’t know how!” And Miracle grabbed her hand and said, “I think it’s time for closing prayer. Renee, repeat this prayer after me if you truly want to be saved and you love God with all of your heart.” Renee nodded and we all closed our eyes.

“Dear Father in Heaven,” Miracle prayed, and Renee repeated. “I ask you to please forgive me for my sins” “I ask you to please forgive me for my sins” “Come in to my life and my heart” “Come in to my life and my heart” “I love you Dear Jesus”  “I love you Dear Jesus” “Amen” “Amen”

Renee opened her eyes and looked at Miracle. “I feel so new now!” She said with tears in her eyes. Miracle smiled at her. “I’m so happy for you.” I grinned. “Welcome to the family of God, Renee!” “Yay! A new sister!” Said Bethany, and Addi and Ocean put their arms around her. “Uh oh…” whispered Tessa. “An AG employee is coming over to us!” Matthew said. “Well, I guess we’d better go before we get in trouble.” Ocean said. “Bye!” They all whispered. “Bye! Keep reading your Bible and praying!” And just like that, they were gone.

“Wow! That was sooooo cool, Renee becoming a Christian and all.” Bethany exclaimed. “Yeah! It was awesome!” I smiled. “She seems like a really awesome addition to our prayer group!” Just then, I looked at my phone. “YIKES! We need to get to bed! It’s nearly 10:00!” I said. “Okay.” Said Bethany. And so that was the end of our prayer meeting.

I’m a Seventh Day Adventist, and if you look on my Amazing Grace page, I explain what that means. 😁 Thanks so much! It was fun to do.

Oops, I just realized that I didn’t really answer your question fully! XD The Seventh Day Adventist Church is a Protestant Christian church. XD
