Behold! The Valentine’s Day Extravaganza Post!!!!!

Hello, chocolates! (Bear with me ok at least I didn’t call you candy hearts 😂😂😂) First Of all, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!

I hope you all know just how much you guys mean to me! 💖💖💖

Today I have a ton of cool stuff planned, so I decided to make an extravaganza post, full of fun stuff!!!!!!!

So, first of all, we have this Fanfiction Short story that I wrote, and yes, it is with the same characters as before. (From Adventures In Odyssey) So, here ya go!

An AIO Fanfiction Short Story

Hey, everyone!

It’s me, Connie Kendall! Well, Valentine’s day is rolling around again. I know what you’re probably thinking: Ew, yuck! Who cares about Valentine’s day! But I believe that Valentine’s day isn’t just for romantic couples like Katrina and Eugene or Penny and Wooton. I believe that it’s a day to celebrate friendship, and most of all, God’s love. You know what? I think I’ll tell you what happened last Valentine’s day.

“Penny! Over here!” I shouted, waving her over to our long table at Hal’s Diner. She waved back, then hurried over to where Katrina, Eugene, Jason, Whit, and I were sitting. She sat down on one side of me and gushed, “This was such a great idea, Connie!!! I would never have thought of this myself! A Valentine’s Day Friendship party!” “Indeed, Ms. Kendall.” Eugene agreed. I grinned. It had been my idea, I mean, some of my single friends spend Valentine’s day alone, so I had thought that I would get the whole gang together to celebrate “Palentine’s day” as Wooton had said we should call it. “Wait, where is Wooton?” I wondered aloud. “I’m here!” He shouted, and bounded over to our table. “I kinda got held up on my mail route, Mrs. Kramer lectured me for a whole half hour!” Penny gasped. “What did she do that for, Wooton?” “Well, she wanted her package that she said she ordered two weeks ago to come, but then it didn’t come, so she decided to yell at me for not delivering it.” he snorted. “That Mrs. Kramer sure is something.” Whit shook his head. “The only thing anyone could do is to be nice, I suppose.” Katrina mused. “I agree wholeheartedly.” Eugene smiled fondly at her. “Shall we pray?” asked Whit. We all nodded in agreement. “Jason, would you bless it, please?” “Sure.” He nodded, and we joined hands, I grabbed Jason’s and Penny’s, then he began to pray. “Dear Father in Heaven, We thank you for this time that we could be together as friends on this Valentine’s day. Thank you for the love of friends, and for your everlasting love. Please bless this food that we’re about to eat. Help it to strengthen our bodies. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.” “Amen.” we all echoed. “So, what should we order?” Wooton wondered. “There’s so much to choose from!!” Just then, a waitress strolled up to our table. “Well, if I may suggest, I think you might like our new strawberry heart waffles, they’re new for Valentine’s Day!” We all thought for a moment. “Okay! I’ll take licorice whips on top please!” Wooton grinned. “Um… how about strawberry whipped cream instead?” the waitress asked. “Ok!” Wooton agreed. “I’ll have a slice of apple pie with whipped cream, and scrambled eggs on the side.” Jason said. “Mmm, that sounds delicious. I think I’ll have the same.” Whit agreed. “Hmm, I believe I shall have scrambled eggs with low-fat vanilla yogurt with a fruit smoothie.” Eugene said. “And I as well.” Katrina added. Penny ordered strawberry heart waffles with maple syrup on top, and finally, I decided on chocolate chip pancakes and a fried egg. As we were waiting for our food, Whit told the story of Saint Valentine’s courage, and we had a discussion. “So, how come so many people don’t know the true story behind Valentine’s Day?” Wooton wondered. “Well, it’s just like all of the other holidays that have Christian origins,” Jason began. “Like Christmas and Easter?” Penny suggested. “Yes. They all have Christianity in their roots, but pagan things have been added so heavily that it’s hard to see the good in the holidays anymore.” Jason finished. Whit nodded. “Which is why we as Christians should set a good example for others and celebrate the real meaning for Valentine’s Day, and for all the holidays.” “Indubitably!” Eugene agreed. Just then, the waitress came back with the food. “Mmm, it looks delicious!” Katrina smiled. “Indeed it does!” We all agreed. “Three cheers for Palentine’s Day!” Wooton shouted. “Hip, Hip, Hooray!!!” We all yelled.

So, I hope you learned a good lesson about Valentine’s Day, or Palentine’s day, as Wooton would call it. It’s a day to celebrate God’s Love, and to cherish friendships and family! That’s all for now! I’m Connie Kendall, signing off.
